Orange Theope
Wing span:
Identification: The wings are orange on the upperside with yellow margins. The forewings have dark brown costal, apical and subapical regions. This region is a darker shade of brown in males and there is an iridescent purple subapical band. Males are also a brighter shade of orange on the upperside. The underside of the wings is yellow in both males and females, with no distinctive markings.
