Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown, with a broad yellow central oblique band on the forewings. The forewings are orange from the base to the discal region (excepting along the costa). The hindwings are orange from the base to the outer postdiscal region (excepting along the dorsum), with a dark brown band from the base to the discal region. The hindwings also have yellow submarginal spots on the underside, at the termen.
