Wing span:

Identification: The wings are orange from the base to the outer postdiscal region and dark brown at the margins and termenal submargins. Both fore- and hindwings have a broad dark brown band in the orange region, in the discal region on the hindwings and in the discal/postdiscal region on the forewings. The band is speckled with white spots. The orange region on the inner side of the dark brown band has a few tiny brown spots, which appear white on the underside. Additionally, there are three tiny white spots near the tornus on both fore- and hindwings, in the dark brown submarginal region. More submarginal spots appear on the underside, going all the way up to the apex.
