Wing span:

Identification: The wings are black with a long tail on each hindwing. The forewings have two whitish bands, one in the postbasal/discal region and one in the postdiscal region. The hindwings also have two bands that are in line with those on the forewings when both fore- and hindwings are open. The inner band is found centrally on the hindwings and the outer band, which is mostly iridescent blue instead of whitish, is found submarginally and continues down to the tip of the tail. There are some pink and red markings at the tornus on the hindwings. The forewings have a small red patch at the base and costa. The body is iridescent blue on the upperside, especially at the thorax and head. The abdomen has two red bands along the length of the abdomen, on either sides.
