Mantus metalmark

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown, with a broad white marking that appears v-shaped when the wings are open. The marking tapers at the two ends on the forewings. The wings have iridescent blue ring-like submarginal markings at the termen. Additionally, the forewings have iridescent blue ring-like markings below the costa. The outlines of these markings all appear thicker and whitish on the underside. There is an iridescent blue tint on the upperside at the termenal submargins of the wings and at the costa of the forewings.
