White-stitched metalmark
Wing span:
Identification: The wings are dark brown with alternating broken yellowish-white bands, giving a checkered appearance. These markings are not quite visible in all regions on the upperside in males. The second row of markings from the termen appear as broad orange lunules on the hindwings in females.
