Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with a large triangular blue marking on the forewings below the costa, with a large black ocellus in the centre. There are light brown rings around the ocellus on the underside of the forewings. The ocellus has a white pupil. The hindwings have alternating white bands from mid to margin and a faint blue patch above the tornus where the white region begins. The bands on the hindwings go all the way inward to the base on the underside.
