Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown, with a white region on the hindwings from mid to margin. The forewings have a large black ocellus with a white pupil just below mid-costa, and a blue subapical band. The subapical band is not visible on the underside. Instead, there are two rows of brownish-white submarginal lunules. The hindwings also have a row of brown submarginal lunules on the underside, as well as a row of white lunules on the inner side of the white region.
