Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with a white postdiscal band on the forewings and a large black ocellus just below the mid-costal region. The ocellus has a light brown outline and three white pupils (one larger than the others). The ocellus is enclosed by alternating dark brown and light brown rings. The hindwings have alternating white and dark brown bands from mid to margin, with the three outer white bands being much broader than the rest. On the underside, this alternating pattern goes all the way inward to the base.
