Wing span:

Identification: The wings are brown with a white central band on the forewings that broadens moving from costa to tornus. The forewings also have a large black ocellus just below the mid-costal region, with a yellow outline and three white pupils. The ocellus is enclosed by alternating dark brown and light brown rings. The hindwings have thin alternating white and brown bands in the discal and postdiscal regions, with the two outer bands in the outer postdiscal region being much broader than the rest. The termenal margin of the hindwings has a white patch just below the apex.
