Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with an iridescent bright blue tint on the hindwings, excepting the dorsum and costa, and from mid to base on the forewings. The iridescent blue region has three dark brown bands on the hindwings. The forewings have a large black ocellus on the outer side of the iridescent blue region, in the upper discal region, with a white pupil. The underside of the wings is dark brown with alternating light brown bands.
