Wing span:

Identification: The wings are black with a yellow oblique central band on the forewings. Both fore- and hindwings have a red basal spot. There are two red basal spots on the underside of the forewings. The hindwings have yellow termenal submargin, while the forewings have an orangish-red marking at the tornus and yellow apex.
