Wing span:

Identification: The wings are white on the upperside with dark brown termenal submargin, and dark brown apex, subapex and outer postdiscal region on the forewings. The forewings have a white band in the dark brown submarginal region and the hindwings have two dark brown bands in the postdiscal region. The forewings also have a large central black ocellus with a broad yellow outline followed by a thin dark brown outline, and three tiny bluish pupils. The underside of the wings appears dark brown with alternating white bands.
