Iphias metalmark

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are white from the base to the outer postdiscal region on the forewings and to the termenal submargin on the hindwings, and dark brown elsewhere. The white region has thin alternating dark brown bands. Both fore- and hindwings have a black submarginal ocellus around mid-termen, with a yellow-white outline. The ocellus on the hindwings is much smaller than the one on the forewings.
