Wing span:
Identification: The wings have dark brown markings that appear faint on the brown upperside and brighter on the light brown underside. The markings occur from the base to the postdiscal region, after which there is a broad dark brown band made up of lunule-like segments at the outer postdiscal region. The wings also have a row of submarginal dark brown spots at the termen.

Larval food plant: Byrsonima crassifolia, Cordia linnei, Croton yucatanensis, Dendropanax arboreus, Hieronyma oblonga, Inga punctata, Melicoccus bijugatus, Myrcia splendens, Spondias mombin, Trema micrantha, Trichilia trifolia, Trichospermum grewiifolium, Zuelania guidonia, Zygia longifolia (as reported by Warren et al., 2013 for E & W Mexico to Costa Rica)
