Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside, each with a triangular orange patch extending from the base to the postdiscal region. The underside of the wings is also dark brown, but with a white checkered pattern on the entirety of the hindwings and partly on the forewings (roughly from mid to dorsum). The forewings also have a horizontal yellow band on the underside, above the dorsum, extending from the base to the outer postdiscal region.
