Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with an iridescent green tint on the upperside, and brown with a yellow marking on the underside. The apex and subapex are yellow on the upperside of the forewings in females, while males have a small yellow subapical patch. Additionally, the costa and cell below the costa, apex and subapex are yellow on the underside of the forewings in females, while males have a singular yellow marking (a thick yellow band) below the costa and near the base. Females have a few iridescent purplish markings on the underside of the forewings, in the area where the yellow band is in males. Males do not have these iridescent markings on the underside.
