Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with red markings, and white on the underside with dark brown markings. The forewings have three white subapical spots on the upperside (visible on the underside), and red markings occurring primarily at and near the dorsum. The hindwings also have a white subapical spot on the upperside, and red markings primarily from mid to dorsum. The apex, subapex and termenal submargin are dark brown on the underside of the forewings, while the apex and termenal submargin are dark brown on the underside of the hindwings.
