Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with a reddish-orange band in the subapical and outer postdiscal regions. There are small white spots between this band and the wing bases. The forewings have a reddish-orange band radiating from the base to the discal region, just below the costa. There is a reddish-orange spot near the discal end of this band. This spot is connected to the band on the underside.

Variation: There is variation among individuals in the thickness of the reddish-orange markings.
