Isidora leafwing

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are orange on the upperside (bright orange in males) with dark brown apex, subapex and termen on the forewings. The apex of the hindwings is also brown. There is a brown patch at the costa on both fore- and hindwings. The forewings have two central white spots. The dorsum of the hindwings is cream to orangish-brown. The hindwings also have a tail-like projection at the tornus and five tiny black submarginal spots. The underside of the wings is brown and appears like two dried leaves, with a dark brown central line on the hindwings and from the dorsum to a short distance up the forewings (like the midrib of a leaf).
