Wing span:

Identification: The wings are black on the upperside with a white postbasal line. Additionally, the forewings have a discal white patch and a submarginal white band. These markings are visible on the dark brown underside. The costa of the forewings is light brown at the base and has a red line from around mid-postbasal to discal region. There is also a bit of a red line at the apex and part of the termen of the forewings. The hindwings have a central white line and a red submarginal line that almost circles the wings (broken at the apex and mid-dorsum).
