Wing span:

Identification: The forewings are marbled orange and dark brown from mid to dorsum, dark brown from mid to costa on the upperside, and marbled brown and white from mid to costa on the underside. The forewings also have three white apical spots, four white subapical spots, and a white band consisting of three white markings on the inner side of the subapical spots. The upperside of the hindwings is dark brown with a central orange band and two orange submarginal bands. Both fore- and hindwings have orange marginal spots on the upperside. The underside of the hindwings is marbled dark brown and light brown, with two black ocelli in the outer postdiscal and submarginal regions. Each ocellus has an iridescent blue pupil and yellow and dark brown outlines. The hindwings have a thin iridescent blue submarginal band sandwiched between two thin white bands on the underside.
