Great satyr

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are brown with a triangular light brown area at the subapex and upper postdiscal region of the forewings on the underside. Additionally, the hindwings are light brown from the base to the postdiscal region. The forewings have five dark brown ocelli occurring on the outer side of the triangular area (almost parallel with the termenal margin), each with a white pupil and broad light brown outline. The hindwings have six dark brown ocelli, each with a white pupil and light brown outline. The forewings are pointed at the apex.
