Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with a whitish-blue patch from mid to base (excepting the costa of the forewings). The forewings also have a whitish-blue band near the subapex and a small whitish-blue subapical spot. The hindwings have a red tornal spot. The underside of the wings is dark brown with the same whitish-blue markings. There are red lines surrounding the whitish-blue markings and the submargins have a whitish tint.
