The underside of the wings is light brown from mid to base and dark brown for the rest of the wings, with black markings. The dark brown region of the forewings has two wavy black lines that end at the cell above the dorsum as black smudges. Additionally, there are six irregular black circles on the outer side of the outer line. The light brown region of the forewings has two black spots. The light brown region of the hindwings has a wavy black line and some black markings. Additionally, the hindwings have two black ocelli, each with a white pupil, blue iris and yellow outline. One ocellus is located near the apex and the other is at the tornus.
