The band has dark brown wavy outline and two black ocelli, each with a thin yellow outline. There is also a faint black apical ocellus with yellow outline in the dark brown region of the hindwings, on the outer side of the mauve-tinted band. The forewings have a similar mauve-tinted band with wavy dark brown outline in the outer postdiscal and subapical regions, containing five small black ocelli, each with a thin yellow outline.
