Wing span:

Identification: The forewings are brown on the upperside with two white bands radiating upward from the dorsum and tapering off just below the costa. The hindwings have a broad central white band on the upperside with a brown base and submargins, and a black tornal ocellus with a white pupil and greyish outline. The wings are alternating brown and white on the underside, and have two dark brown submarginal lines, one straight and one wavy. The forewings have a black subapical ocellus with a white pupil and yellow outline, and two brown ocelli below, each with a yellow outline. The hindwings have three black ocelli, two at the subapex and one at the tornus, each with a yellow outline. The subapical ocelli each have one white pupil, while the tornal ocellus has two white pupils. There are two brown ocelli between the subapical and tornal ocelli, each with two bluish pupils and a yellow outline.
