Wing span: 33 mm in females, 31 mm in males (Pyrcz & Fratello, 2005)

Identification: The wings are brown with an orange band in the outer postdiscal and subapical regions. The orange band has dark brown spots. On the underside of the hindwings, it is bordered by white on both sides. The hindwings are scalloped at the termen.
