Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with transparent spots and patches on the forewings from the base to the submarginal region, and a small orange submarginal patch at the lower half of the termen. This orange patch extends upward to the apex on the underside of the forewings. The hindwings are transparent from the base to the postdiscal region, excepting the costa, with dark brown veins. The submarginal and outer postdiscal regions of the hindwings are orange. This bit of orange extends upward along the costa and to the base on the underside. The underside of both the fore- and hindwings has submarginal white spots at and below the apex.
