Wing span:

Identification: Males are bright iridescent blue on the upperside with dark brown costa, apex and termenal margin on the forewings and dark brown costa and dorsum on the hindwings. Females are dark brown on the upperside with yellow from the base to the outer postdiscal region, except for a dark brown area at and below the costa of the forewings. Females also have yellow submarginal markings and three yellowish-orange apical markings. The forewings have a yellow subapical spot. The underside of the wings is a blotchy dark brown and greyish-brown in males, and a blotchy yellow, orangish-brown and dark brown in females.
