Wing span:

Identification: The wings are leaf-like and dark brown on the upperside, with an iridescent blue tint from mid to base in females and on most of the wings in males. The forewings have two iridescent blue-tinted white subapical spots. The hindwings have a tail-like projection just below mid-termen and four tiny white-crowned black tornal ocelli. The underside of the wings has a blotchy greyish-brown appearance, and resembles dried foliage. The body is brown with iridescent blue on the upperside and brown on the underside. 

Variation: All four of the tornal ocelli may not be visible in some specimens.
