Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with a central yellow band and a subapical yellow band on the forewings. The forewings are orange on the inner side of the central yellow band, all the way to the base, with dark brown spots. The region between the central and subapical bands is mostly orange on the underside. The hindwings are orange at the base and below the apex. On the underside, the hindwings have broad orange submargins excepting the tornus. The wings have submarginal white spots on the underside.
