Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with a central yellow band and a subapical yellow band on the forewings. The forewings are orange on the inner side of the central yellow band, all the way to the base (excepting the dorsum), with six dark brown spots. The region between the central and subapical bands has bits of orange. The hindwings have a horizontal orange band below the costa and an orange patch below the apex. On the underside, the costa is broadly orange all the way to the orange patch below the apex. The wings have submarginal white spots on the underside.
