Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with a central yellow band and a subapical yellow spot on the forewings. The forewings are mostly orange on the inner side of the central yellow band, all the way to the base. The hindwings have a horizontal yellow band with a thin orange outline, and a horizontal orange band below the yellow band. The orange band curves around the yellow band to the base of the costa on the underside. The wings have submarginal white spots on the underside.
