Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with orangish-brown vertical stripes. The forewings have three white spots in the outer postdiscal region. The hindwings have two tail-like projections at the tornus and three black tornal ocelli, each with an orangish-brown outline. The underside of the wings is white to brown moving from base to margin, with dark brown vertical stripes. The white spots on the upperside of the forewings and tornal ocelli on the upperside of the hindwings are visible on the underside. The body is dark brown on the upperside and white on the underside.
