Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with an orangish-brown vertical stripe at the outer postdiscal region of the forewings and a dark blue centre on the hindwings. The hindwings have two rows of orangish-brown submarginal lunules and two tail-like projections at the tornus, one shorter than the other and orangish-brown in colour. Additionally, the hindwings have three black tornal ocelli, each with a white outline. The underside of the wings is brown with a central dark brown vertical band with white outline and two postbasal white lines. The tornal ocelli on the upperside of the hindwings appear more distinct on the underside. The submarginal lunules on the hindwings appear white on the underside, and there are white submarginal lunules on the underside of the forewings.
