Wing span:

Identification: The upperside of the forewings is orange from the base to the postdiscal region and dark brown elsewhere, with a white subapical spot (visible on the underside). The hindwings are orange from the base to the postbasal region and dark brown elsewhere, with light brown margins at the termen and dorsum. The wings are brown on the underside and appear leaf-like, with a central line running vertically from the submargin of the forewings to the tornus of the hindwings (like the midrib of a leaf). There are black wavy lines on the inner side of the "midrib" bluish-green and purple tinges. The forewings have a greyish-brown patch at the submargin below the apex.
