Wing span:

Identification: The forewings are dark brown with three red bands radiating from the base to the inner discal region, three large and two tiny central white markings, and two small subapical white markings. The hindwings are also dark brown with two red bands and one red line radiating from the base to the inner discal region and to the outer postdiscal region, respectively.  One of the two red bands tapers into a red line that goes to the outer postdiscal region. There are four similar red lines near to this red line that all extend to the outer postdiscal region. All of the veins appear reddish on the underside of the hindwings, so there appears to be more than six red lines, and each red line is bordered by short whitish strips at the submargins.
