Grey cracker

Wing span:

Identification: The wings and body are marbled on the upperside with greyish-blue, white, black, dark brown and light brown. Additionally, both fore- and hindwings have a series of submarginal ocelli. The underside of the wings white from base to the postbasal region of the forewings and from outer postdiscal region to base of the hindwings. The remaining area of the forewings and margins of the hindwings are marbled with dark brown and white. The four submarginal ocelli of the hindwings each have a white pupil, yellowish-brown iris and dark brown outline.
