Wing span:
Identification: The wings are marbled on the upperside with greyish-blue, white, black, dark brown and red. The red spots occur in the postbasal to basal regions. The hindwings have three submarginal black ocelli, each with a white pupil, dark brown iris and dark brown outline. The pattern on the upperside of the wings is also present on the underside, except that the wing bases are a lighter shade of brown and the outlines of the submarginal ocelli on the hindwings appear white.
