Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with a central red band from costa to dorsum on the forewings and a submarginal and outer postdiscal red band from mid to costa on the hindwings. The red band on the forewings is visible on the dark brown underside. The hindwings is a blotchy brown on the underside. The wings have an orange submargin on the underside.
