Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with an iridescent blue tint along the costa of the forewings from base to subapex, and along the termenal submargin of the hindwings. The underside of the wings is brown with dark brown markings. The centre of the forewings is mostly dark brown, and there are four dark brown apical markings. The underside of the hindwings has a postdiscal band containing a double black ocellus near the apex and two black ocelli near the tornus. Each ocellus has a dark brown outline. The ocellus near to the apex has a whitish pupil and the one nearest to it is faintly pupilled. The hindwings also have three dark brown postbasal markings.
