Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with six white spots on the forewings, three located centrally and three located subapically. Males have an iridescent blue tint from mid to base on the forewings and a small patch on the hindwings in the postbasal to discal region. The underside of the wings has a blotchy appearance with a mix of dark brown, light brown and white. The dorsum, cell above the dorsum and the base of the forewings are brown. The postbasal to outer postdiscal regions of the forewings are dark brown. The apex and subapex of the forewings are a lighter shade of brown, with four dark brown apical spots. The underside of the hindwings has a postdiscal band (with dark brown wavy outlines) containing one double black ocellus near the apex and two ocelli near the tornus, each with a whitish pupil, yellowish-brown iris and a dark brown outline. The postbasal region has three dark brown markings. The body is dark brown on the upperside and light brown on the underside.
