Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside and brown on the underside with two dark brown bands running from costa to dorsum. There are also two dark brown submarginal lines on the underside. The forewings have four faint ocelli in the subapical and outer postdiscal regions, two black and two brown. Each ocellus has a white pupil and yellowish-brown outline. The hindwings have six black ocelli in the subapical and outer postdiscal regions. Each ocellus has a crescent-shaped white pupil and a brown outline followed by a dark brown and then yellow outline.
