Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with a horizontal orange band, a subapical orange patch on the forewings and a horizontal orange tornal band on the hindwings. The orange markings appear yellowish on the underside, excepting the tornal band of the hindwings which appears orange and extends all the way up to below the apex. The horizontal band on the hindwings is divided in two on the underside. The hindwings also have yellow submarginal lunules on the underside. The forewings have three whitish apical spots on the underside.
