Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with short dark brown vertical strips from the bases to the outer postdiscal region. The forewings have a central white band and four white ocelli, each outlined by black, on the outer side of the white band in the subapical region. The hindwings have five white ocelli, each outlined by dark brown, in the outer postdiscal region. The underside of the wings is light brown with a similar pattern to that of the upperside.
