Ghost sailor

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with white markings. The forewings have a large white central patch extending horizontally from the postbasal region to the outer postdiscal region, and vertically from just below the costa to the dorsum. Above it is a white spot in the costal region, and on its outer region are two smaller white submarginal spots. The forewings also have a faint iridescent blue tint at the costa. The hindwings are largely white, except at the base and from the outer postdiscal region to the margins. On the underside, there is a faint white submarginal line on the wings, which is bordered on the outer side a light iridescent blue line and then an orange line. The body is dark brown on the upperside and whitish on the underside.
