Wing span:

Identification: The wings are bright orange on the upperside with dark brown apical and termenal margins and submargins on the forewings, and dark brown termenal margins and submargins on the hindwings. The forewings have a horizontal dark brown band radiating from the costa and merging with the termenal submargin. The costa of the hindwings is creamish-brown. The hindwings have small orange submarginal lunules. The underside of the wings is a blotchy brown with whitish termenal margins.
