Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside, with a central oblique iridescent green band and a small subapical whitish marking on the forewings, and submarginal iridescent green band along the termen of the hindwings. The underside of the wings is dark brown with creamish-white and red markings. The postdiscal to basal region of the forewings is red. The forewings also have a creamish-white subapical band and a creamish-white submarginal line running from the apex to almost the end of the termen. The costa of the hindwings is red. There is a creamish-white and dark brown pattern in the centre of the hindwings that resembles the number eight. Outside of this pattern are more layers of creamish-white and dark brown going toward the margins.
