Wing span:

Identification: The wings are transparent with dark brown margins, submargins and veins. The hindwings have a black apical ocellus with a white pupil and brown outline. The hindwings also have two small white spots below the ocellus, and a purple central patch (this area is still transparent) which is not visible on the underside. The tornus of the hindwings is brown on the underside with three transparent spots, with one occurring around one of the small white spots that are found below the ocellus.
